Due to the nature of this car seat, I developed a full fit to vehicle SOP for checking all possible configurations in all guaranteed vehicles

Artisan dolls and real life kids testing fit to child to validate user experience

Crash Testing

Engineering builds used for crash testing (injury values)

Mockups on engineering builds using plastic, nails, screws, wood of any mockups for tooling changes

Tooling changes usually driven by user experience learnings, crash testing values, or assembly part fit and finish
